KGV-H knife gate valves

KGV-H high-pressure slurry knife gate valve design features a flat flange, no packing, and a bidirectional design with two matching heavy-duty, full-diameter elastic linings. It has no internal obstruction and can provide zero leakage cutoff when the gate is closed. When the valve is opened, the liner seals under high compression load, creating a valve pressure vessel. As the gate stroke passes through the elastic lining, potential blockages in the pipeline may be squeezed out into the environment between the bottom lining of the valve chamber. Each sleeve is equipped with an integral molded internal reinforcement that holds the internal pipeline pressure. The sleeve is located inside the valve chamber to help resist high shear forces when the gate is driven between them.

The valve is equipped with a one-piece molded, replaceable elastomer secondary seal to eliminate the gap between the gate and the top of the valve body in any direction, preventing external contaminants from entering the valve chamber. The secondary seal is dynamically self-adjusting, eliminating the need for continuous adjustment and supporting lubrication of the seal on the gate ring, ensuring smooth movement of the gate and extending sealing life while reducing the operating force required to operate the gate.

The valve is equipped with a heavy-duty gate with a maximum working pressure of 51 bar and a double-angled tip that can be fully removed from the valve chamber for inspection. The valve is also equipped with a large-capacity funnel to control the removal of the medium and provide the opportunity to flush it away.
